I found this little guy stuck in the grill of some anonymous vehicle and thought i should take it home to take pics. This is what came out. I put him on the top of my fridge so I could have a clean background. Put it in photoshop and overexposed the background a bit and added contrast and some saturation.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I got a bit annoyed at the way the wing's clipped off at the top, but I guess there's no fixing that now...
Otherwise, I really like it. It's strong and the bug looks really pained. The way the wing pointing towards us is blurred draws the vision nicely in at the poor creature's face.
It looks dead.
